How it's worked out
Per student, per year, in slabs.
Each slab of students is charged at its own rate, the way income tax slabs work. 18% GST is added on top.
Students 1 to 500 pay the full rate, 501 to 1,500 pay 85% of it, and 1,501 to 5,000 pay 70%. Above 5,000 students, we quote.
A small school pays whichever is higher: its slab total or the minimum.
The subscription is the slab total or the yearly minimum, whichever is higher.

- 120 × ₹79 = ₹9,480
- That's under the ₹12,000 minimum, so the subscription is ₹12,000

- Subscription ₹1,27,595 + 10% = ₹1,40,354.50
- + 18% GST ₹25,263.81 = ₹1,65,618.31
- ₹1,65,618.31 ÷ 4 instalments
4 × ₹41,404.58, which is ₹15,056.21 more over the year than paying yearly.
What the price includes
- No setup fee.
- Hosting, and the ProEMS app on Android and iPhone for staff, parents and students.
- A one-month free trial, and no lock-in contract after it.
- SMS and payment gateway charges are passed through at cost. They depend on how many messages you send and how many payments go through the gateway, so they aren't in the calculator.
Every plan is priced the same way, per student in slabs. What changes is what it includes: Silver covers records, attendance and communication; Gold adds fees, exams and report cards; Platinum adds admissions, library, transport and HR. The full list is on the pricing page.
Questions to ask any vendor
Two quotes are only comparable when they cover the same things. Ask every vendor, us included:

| Is GST included? | An 18% difference is easy to miss when one quote shows it and another doesn't. |
| Per student, or a flat fee? | A per-student price grows with admissions. A flat fee may have a student cap. |
| Is there a minimum, a setup fee or a training fee? | These can outweigh the per-student price for a small school. |
| Who moves our existing data? | Student, fee and staff records from Excel or an old system take real work. Find out who does it and whether it costs extra. |
| What do SMS and online payments cost? | They're usually charged by use. Ask for the rate per message and the gateway's charge per payment. |
| Are the apps, hosting and updates included? | Some prices cover the software only. |
| How much can the price go up at renewal, and can we leave? | A low first year matters less than the next three. Check the lock-in period and how you get your data out. |
Comparing two quotes
Turn every quote into one number: the total for the year, GST included, divided by your students and by 12. That gives a cost per student per month you can set side by side. The calculator shows this for each ProEMS plan.

- How much does ProEMS cost?
- Silver is ₹79, Gold ₹169 and Platinum ₹249 per student per year, before 18% GST, with lower rates above 500 students and a ₹12,000 yearly minimum.
- Is GST included in these prices?
- The list prices are before GST. The calculator adds 18% GST, so its totals are what you actually pay.
- Is there a setup fee?
- No. Setup, hosting and both apps are included. SMS and payment-gateway charges are passed through at cost.
- Can we pay every quarter instead of yearly?
- Yes. Quarterly billing costs 10% more over the year, paid in four equal instalments.
- What if we have more than 5,000 students?
- Above 5,000 students in one institution, we work out the price with you. Ask for a quote with your student count.
- Can we try it before paying?
- Yes. You can use ProEMS free for a month, and there's no lock-in contract after it.
