For students

Everything for tomorrow's school day, in one login.

The student login has the week's timetable, tonight's homework, your teachers' notes and quizzes, your results and the fees that are due. The app keeps study material, results, attendance and news in your pocket, and the web is where you hand in assignments, if your school uses them, and pay fees online.

In short

What can students do in ProEMS?

Students check their timetable, homework, study material, quizzes and results, ask teachers questions, follow school and class news, see their attendance and pay fees online, all from the student login on the web, with much of it in the app as well.

Fees are paid online only from the student login on the web, through the institution's own gateway (Razorpay, Stripe, Paytm, HDFC (via CCAvenue) or PNB). The app and the parent login show fees and receipts but don't take payments, so this is the login a family uses to pay online.

Results appear once the school makes them visible for your section, so the Result item shows up when there's something final to see.

A working day

What does a school day look like for a student on ProEMS?

For a student on ProEMS, the day runs from the timetable in the morning to homework and the odd fee at night, mostly on the web and partly on the phone.

  1. 07:30

    What's on today

Open My Time Table on the web for today's periods, so you know it's a Physics practical day before you pack your bag.

  2. 13:10

    A quick quiz

Take Quiz has a timed quiz on quadratic equations. The timer runs on screen, and the questions are single-answer or tick-all-that-apply.

  3. 16:00

    Homework, handed in

Homework shows what's been set, with the teacher's worksheet attached. Where your school uses assignment mode, upload your answer as a file, and your teacher reviews it with marks and remarks.

  4. 17:30

    Notes on the bus

Open Study Material in the app and read the chapter notes your Chemistry teacher uploaded this afternoon.

  5. 18:15

    Stuck on a sum

Ask it in Questions. Your teacher can answer from the staff app, and you'll find the reply under My Questions.

  6. 19:00

    Term 2 fees

Open Pay Fee on the web, pay through the school's gateway, and the receipt appears under Payments straight away.

  7. Term end

    Half-yearly results

Once the school makes the half-yearly results visible for your section, Result shows them in your login and in the app.

What you'll use

What do students use ProEMS for?

Questions, news, albums and attendance come with Silver. Cards marked Gold need that plan, because the timetable, homework, study material, quizzes, results and fees are Gold modules.

  • Questions to teachers

Ask about anything you're stuck on, follow your own under My Questions, and read everyone's under All Questions.

  • News and photo albums

School and class news, with app notifications on Android, and photos from events and class activities.

  • Your attendance

Each day and period you were marked, and your total and percentage over any dates.

    Online fee payment

Pay Fee on the web through the school's own gateway, with every receipt kept under Payments.

How do students pay school fees online?

From the student login on the web. Open Pay Fee, pick what you're paying and go through the school's own gateway (Razorpay, Stripe, Paytm, HDFC (via CCAvenue) or PNB). The payment is posted to your fees straight away, the receipt appears under Payments, and if your school has email set up, the receipt is emailed to you and your parent.

If a late fine has been added, the dashboard shows a Pay Fine tile with the amount, which opens the same page. Online payment works only here: the app and the parent login show fees and receipts but don't take payments. See fees and online payments for how the school sets it up.

Can students do everything from the ProEMS app?

No. The app covers study material, results, attendance, news, messages, photo albums, the calendar, fees, questions and the forum. Homework, quizzes, the timetable and paying fees are on the web login.

In practice that splits neatly: the phone for reading and checking, the web for handing things in and paying. Students sign in to the app with their email and password and the school's organisation code, the same app their parents and teachers use.

Does the student login work for college students?

Yes. Colleges run on the same ProEMS, and its settings switch the school wording to college wording, so Homework can read Assignments and the dashboard's School News reads College News.

Where the college uses subject approval, students confirm their exam subjects under Subject Approval and generate their examination form, and staff then approve them. See ProEMS for colleges for the rest.

FAQ

Questions we hear first.

Something else on your mind? Bring it to the demo and we'll answer it there.

Can students pay fees in the ProEMS app?
No. The app shows the fee structure, bank details and receipts, but payment is made only from the student login on the web, through the school's own gateway.
Why can't I see my results yet?
Results appear once the school makes them visible for your section. Until then the Result item doesn't show in your login, and the app has nothing to display.
How do I ask a teacher a question?
Use Questions on the web or in the app. Teachers can answer from the staff app, and your questions and their answers stay under My Questions. For a private word, Messenger reaches the principal and your class's teachers.
Is it the same app my parents use?
Yes. It's one app for staff, students and parents. You sign in with your own email and password and the school's organisation code, and it opens on the student view.
Are the learning portal and the forum included?
They come with the Platinum plan, along with the syllabus and surveys. Quizzes, homework, study material and the timetable come with Gold.
