FAQ
Questions about the templates.
Something we haven't covered? Ask us. We reply within one working day.
- Are the templates really free?
- Yes. Every file downloads straight from its page, with no sign-up, no email and no payment.
- Can I change them?
- Yes. The Word and Excel files are yours to edit: add your logo and letterhead, rename fields, add rows. The PDFs are for printing and filling in by hand.
- Are these official formats?
- Where a board or state prescribes a format, the page says so and follows it field by field, with a link to the source. Where no official format exists, the page says that too, and the template is a practical layout you can adapt.
- Why is there a proems.in line at the foot of each file?
- So anyone who receives a copy can find the page that explains the format and the rules behind it. It's a small line in the footer, and you can delete it.
- Is the sample data real?
- No. The school, the students and every number in the examples are made up, and the codes are zeros and Xs so they can't match a real school.
