What it does
They can mark it four ways, report on it however the principal asks, and leave the reminders to ProEMS. These are the parts schools use daily.
Pick the class, subject, date and period, then mark each student present, absent or on leave. Teachers see only their own classes unless their staff profile is set to show all classes.
Teachers take the same period attendance in the staff app, so the register is up to date before they leave the room.

It works with any RFID or barcode scanner that types the code it reads, the way a keyboard would. Save each student's and staff member's card code or barcode on their profile, open the attendance screen, and every scan marks that person present.

Yes, with a Mantra MFS100 fingerprint scanner connected to the office computer and Mantra's client running on it. Each staff member's print is saved on their profile once; after that, a press on the scanner from the staff attendance screen marks them present.
If you already have a standalone biometric machine, keep it. Put its export into the ProEMS template, matched on employee code, and upload it: in and out times come across as present, and A comes across as absent. Fingerprint marking is for staff; students are marked by teachers, mass attendance or card and barcode scans.
Yes. At 6 pm every day, parents who use the ProEMS app get an app notification for each period their child was marked absent, such as “Riya Menon is Absent from Mathematics class at 08:30”.
During the day, students and parents also get an app notification within the hour of each new mark. Notifications reach Android phones only. Students can also check Attendance in the app, and parents can check the parent login on the web. In the register, a student's percentage is the days they were marked present divided by the days attendance was marked, times 100. Present on 11 of 12 marked days shows as 91.67.
Days with no marks at all, such as Sundays and holidays, drop out of the register, and a day on leave counts as not present. You can check a figure by hand with our attendance percentage calculator.
